Corporate Hospitality Housing is proud to announce our newest addition to the Permain Basin, Stonegate @ Pecos. We have brought one of the brightest and boldest housing subdivisions to the City of Pecos with our new 40 house subdivision. With an array of beautiful 3 bedroom and 4 bedroom houses, we are happy to bring a higher standard of living for the Pecos community. The PEDC is proud to continue working with Developers to bring more housing to the Pecos community.

BURGER KING

Located at US 285 and Lincoln. 

DICKEY'S BBQ

The largest Dickey's in the region at 3,800 square feet. The location will employ between 20 - 25 people. According to co-owner, General Echols, "The dining area will seat over 140 with the private room."

WEST SIDE APARTMENTS

The West Side Apartments, located on Arizona Street south of Stafford Boulevard, will contain a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments. The development will house 24 units each in six buildings which will create residence opportunities for nearly 300 people. Each unit will have it's own washers and driers, and the complex will feature a clubhouse complete with entertainment area and splash pad. 

UNITED SUPERMARKETS HOLD INDOOR GROUNDBREAKING FOR STORE

“The United Family is proud to announce its plan to serve the community of Pecos with a new grocery store, convenience store and fuel station,” the company announced in a press release. Groundbreaking was held January 31, 2020, for the first new grocery store building in Pecos in almost 50 years.  The new store will be located at 2783 S. Cedar St, near the intersection of Cedar (U.S 285) and Lincoln street, between Pecos’ Walmart and the new Staybridge and Woodspring hotels. The store is planned to open in late 2020, hopefully by Thanksgiving. 

TRACTOR SUPPLY COMPANY

“Our company says we want to get to people out in the country life, the people out here, so they don’t have to travel so much to get to a Tractor Supply,” said Jesse Tyer, store manager. Currently, they have added 14 new jobs in Pecos with their opening. “It’s been great,” he said. “Before we even opened the doors, we had to put a sign on the door telling them when we were going to open. Everybody was so excited.”

O’REILLY AUTO PARTS

The newest member of the auto parts chain opens on Cedar street. O'Reilly Automotive, Inc., is one of the largest specialty retailers of automotive aftermarket parts, tools, supplies, equipment and accessories in the United States, serving both the do-it-yourself and professional markets. Founded in 1957 by the O'Reilly family, the company operates over 4,500 stores in 42 states.

KFC

KFC becomes the second national fast-food chain to expand operations in Pecos. They have opened a 2,500 square feet structure that seats 45 people. Located on the north side of Interstate 20-U.S. 285 interchange.

DOMINO’S

Jim Gerety, franchise owner, constructed a 4,000 square feet, with space for a second tenant. Domino’s will occupy 2,400 square-foot of the building on the one-acre lot. “It’s going to have the most parking we’ve ever had for a Domino’s. We’ll have room for plenty of trucks,” boasted Gerety.

LOVE'S TRAVEL CENTER

The new Love’s features Chester's Fried Chicken, and 24-hour McDonald's and Subway restaurants. They opened their doors hiring approximately 120 employees. "We're happy to bring the 'Clean Places, Friendly Faces' Love's is known for to this area of west Texas," said Tom Love, founder and CEO of Love's Travel Stops. "It's our goal to offer the best customer service Pecos has experienced. We look forward to contributing to the community and local economy."

BHP BILLITON OFFICE

The completion of the 24,000-square-foot office building brings space for over 100 employees. “Generally speaking, the building provides offices for those running our day to day operations in the Permian Basin,” according to Jayrl Strong, BHP Billiton spokesperson. The Permian Basin is an “emerging play in BHP’s shale portfolio,” the company aims to achieve a production rate of over 150,000 barrels of oil per day, which is up from 30,000 per day.

KINGS ROAD RV PARK

Pecos' newest recreation vehicle park brings over 200 spaces. The owner, General Echols, thanked Pecos Economic Development Corporation for making this work. “This whole project has gone through the economic development,” said Echols, who added that it was a pleasure working with the city.

BUSH’S CHICKEN

50 new jobs come with the opening Pecos' Bush's Chicken franchise. “It was a toss-up between Lamesa and Pecos, and we chose Pecos,” said Keith Bush, one of the owners of Bush's Chicken. “We’re open in Pecos thanks to the Pecos Economic Development Corporation and Bill Oglesby,” said Bush. “He was very helpful in getting us here,” he said.

FAIRFIELD INN & SUITES

Opportunity is ushered in with the opening of Fairfield Inn and Suites with an additional 18 new jobs for Pecos. This Fairfield offers larger suites, a more modern look, with sleeker lines and more affordability. “It's a beautiful property and we're very proud of it and proud to share it with Pecos,” said Hector Ramos, sales manager for the company.

TARGET LOGISTICS

This Pecos Lodge, hosts a capacity of 786, as well as offering ‘The Frac Shack™’ restaurant-style dining. In addition, to having a 24-hour dining facility, swimming pool, and top-notch workout facilities. Tom Schneider, chief marketing officer of Target Logistics, stated, “We’ve had our eye on the Permian Basin and we’re really excited and happy to have landed in Pecos as our first lodge.” Reeves County Judge Dr. W.J. Bang added that, “The city, county commissioners and the PEDC worked together to set up the land sale to Target and get utilities out to the site in a short time frame.”

STRIPES CONVENIENCE STORES

Land for the newest Stripes was acquired through Pecos Economic Development Corporation, and its opening brings 30-60 full and part-time jobs. Additionally, it houses a Laredo Taco Company and a Subway. Eduardo Pereda, Vice President of Marketing for Stripes stores, stated, “We are looking forward to our second Stripes Store in Pecos, as West Texas has been part of our growth market strategy, expanding off the I-20 corridor is compelling for our growth.”

LITTLE CAESARS PIZZA

This pizza franchise opens and brings an initial 25-30 jobs to Pecos. “We're just excited about it and want to welcome everyone,” said Jay Patel, one of the owners. Patel voiced that the Pecos Economic Development Corporation, along with Bob Bhakta, were very instrumental in helping to secure the building/location for them. Patel also added that they are glad that they were able to come to Pecos because there aren't very many franchises here.
